Amino silicone fluid SNY-293

Description

SNY-293 is an amino functional polydimethylsiloxane. It is used for softener formulations for the impregnation of fibers and textiles. The organic-like nature of the primary amine groups gives this silicone oil excellent fabric affinity, resulting in longer-lasting softness and feel to textiles.

Application

SNY-293 is suitable for formulation to a micro emulsion, and, in this form, can be applied to all types of woven or knitted fabric imparting a soft handle.

How to use

Typical microemulsion formula:

• SNY-293: 24%

• Glacial acetic acid: 0.8%

• Emulsifier C13[EO]6: 8.4%

• Deionized water: 66.8%

Emulsifying process(833KG emulsion as a sample):

Firstly, add 200KG SNY-293 and 70KG emulsifier to the reaction kettle equipped with anchor stirring, keep stirring for 10 minutes,then mix 7Kg glacial acetic acid and 100Kg tap water evenly, add the mixture slowly while stirring (complete the drop in 40-50 minutes), then add the remaining 456Kg tap water(deionized water is better if possible) slowly,and filtered to obtain 833Kg transparent microemulsion of amino silicone oil with the solid content of 30%.

Package

200KG per drum or 1000KG per IBC tote.

Storage

• Sealed storage in original containers. 

• Shelf Life: 12 months.

• Storage beyond shelf life doesn’t mean the product is no longer usable, but a trial test is necessary for quality assurance.
