Fluorine water and Oil repellent FC-500

Description

FC-500 is a solvent-based dispersion of fluorinated polymer. The penetrating sealer formulated by FC-500 provides a durabletransparent protective barrier against oil and water on porous mineral surfaces, especially for low-porosity stone, grout, terra cotta, concrete, and bricks. It is also suitable for hydrophobic agents for fabric and leather,etc.

How to use

FC-500 is a concentration and needs to be diluted with solvent before use. A dilution of FC-500 with 2% to 5% actives is normally recommended. FC-500 is soluble in most hydrocarbons (e.g., heptane, white spirits, isoparaffins), alcohols, esters, and ketones. Recommended solvent is butyl acetate. Clean and dry the substrate before use, the product may be applied by using a saturated brush, roller, paint pad, mop, or spray applicator (including pressurized aerosol sprayers) in one or two layers. Dry the treated surface for at east 24 hours. A trial test before production is necessary to determine optimum dilution rate.
