SiMR-245A

Description

SiMR-245A is a water soluble mold-release lubricant based on modified polysiloxanes and waxes for die casting components of aluminum and magnesium alloys.  It generates highly effective separating films on the surface of the mold and brings very good lubrication of all sliding parts. The film is resistant to high pressure and scour during the injection process, effectively preventing the adhesion of the die casting products to the mold.

Application

SiMR-245A is typically used as mold-release and die-castinglubricants for metals (aluminum, magnesium, etc). It is suitable for die-casting machines with clamping force within 5000 MT.

How to Use

Brush or spray. Diluted with deionized water.

Recommended dosage/ratio is 1:150 to 1:100 when applied for magnesium alloys.

Recommended dosage/ratio is 1:300 to 1:150 when applied for aluminum alloys.

Experiment before use is recommended for optimum dilution ratio.
