Solventless Masonry water repellents SiFS-290

Description

SiFS-290 is a solvent-free silane and siloxane concentration blends. It is dilutable with organic solvent. It can penetrate inside the building substrate to form an efficient and lasting water-proofing layer protection. Diluted solutions of SiFS-290 in organic solvent serves as a high-efficient, general-purpose water repellents for impregnating and priming mineral and alkaline substrates.

SiFS-290 reacts with the atmospheric moisture or pore water in the substrate, thereby generating the active ingredient while releasing alcohol. It can penetrate inside the building substrate to form an efficient and lasting water-proofing layer protection, which nevertheless retains a very high degree of water vapour permeability since neither pores nor capillaries are clogged.

Application

SiFS-290 is suitable for imparting hydrophobicity to absorbent, porous, mineral construction materials, e. g.: brickwork, all kinds of concrete , aerated concrete, sand-lime brickwork, cement fiber boards, mineral plasters,mineral-based natural and artificial stone, mineral paints. It is also suitable as primer for exterior paints.
