SiEM-2030 is a non-ionic aqueous emulsion formulated with a polydimethylsiloxane 30% actives.Thanks for its non-ionic nature, it is suitable for various systems including nonionic, anionic, cationic surfactant or polymer systems.

Application

SiEM-2030 is widely used as a polishing agent and release agent/lubricant. The features and benefits of SiEM-2030 determine a variety of applications including:

• As ingredient for car and furniture polish formulations

• Textile industry lubrication of the yarns, sewing needle,etc

• Moldrelease agent for plastic and rubbers parts (stoppers, screw tops, bungs, etc)

• Lubrication of extruded rubber parts; conveyor belts

How to use

SiEM-2030 is ready to use or diluted with water before use.

• Plastic and rubber release agents: Dilute SiEM-2030with low hardness water before use. Then apply by traditional methods like spraying, brushing, wiping or dipping. Recommended dilution is SiEM-2030(one part w/w) and water (10-20 parts w/w). A small scale trial before production is necessary for optimal dilution and application method.

•For fabric finishing agent, SiEM-2030 can be applied by padding. The amount of emulsion required depends on type of fabric (natural, synthetic). Recommended bath concentration is between 10 g/L and 40 g/L.
