Polyether modified silicone polymer SNY-2120

Description

SNY-2120 is a silicone polymer with primary hydroxyl functionality. The polymer has a combination of organo reactivity from the glycol group as well as properties typical of a polydimethylsiloxane fluid. 

Features

• Reacts with isocyanates to provide silicone/polyurethane copolymers

• Imparts hydrophobicity, slip/mar resistance property, softness on polyurethane by copolymerization

Application

SNY-2120 can react with isocyanate and/or urethane prepolymer to provide silicone/polyurethane copolymers. Silicone modified polyurethanes can show better

hydrophobicity, abrasion resistance, mechanical properties than conventional urethane.

How to use

Copolymerize with NCO-endblocked urethane prepolymer. Copolymerize with MDI and polyol.

Mix SNY-2120, polyisocyanate and polyol, and cure.

Package

25KG, 200KG per drum or 1000KG per IBC tote.

Storage

Sealed storage in original container at a cool and dry place.

The shelf life is 24 months from the date of production when stored with proper conditions.

Storage beyond shelf life doesn’t mean the product is no longer usable, but a trial test is necessary for safety.
