SG-3289C is suitable for use in water-based systems or systems containing polar solvents. It is primarily applied in fields such as mold release, coatings, paints, inks, and leather finishing, providing a waxy handle and scratch resistance while improving the water resistance of the system.

How to use

• As an anti-blocking agent: 0.1% - 1% addition level

• As a scratch-resistant agent: 0.1% - 0.5% addition level

• As a leather surface handle and abrasion resistance agent: 0.5% - 2% addition level

• As a bladder lubricant: When SG-3289C is used in conjunction with SiEM-202 emulsion (which acts as a crosslinking agent), the recommended mixing ratio is SG-3289C:SiEM-202:Water = 1.8:1:5.5. This forms a longer-lasting lubricating coating on the bladder surface. To improve production efficiency, it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of catalyst (such as titanium alkoxide or organotin catalyst) to the ready-to-use diluted formula. The prepared dilution without added catalyst can be stored at room temperature for approximately 7 days.
